DAY 1 : Arrive at Nairobi
Welcome to Nairobi, the ‘Green City in the Sun’. Nairobi, the capital of Kenya is one of the most populous cities of Africa. The rest of the day is at your leisure. One could visit the Nairobi National Park, the only park in the world to offer an on-foot tour or skate at the Solar Ice Rink. If you are looking at spending a quite day, you could head down to the Modern Art Museum. In the evening you could choose to take an optional dinner at the Carnivore restaurant or head out to the many other food joints in Nairobi.

DAY 2 : Nairobi- Samburu Game Reserve
Travel north 350 kilometers to the Samburu Game Reserve. The 165 square km reserve lies along the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro River. Set against the backdrop of the red tabletop mountain ‘Ololokwi’, the Samburu Reserve is home to four of Africa’s big five. The Samburu reserve will captivate you with its dramatic landscape and wildlife.

DAY 3 : Samburu Game Reserve
Wake up to the sound of lions roar in the land of the lion whisperer George Adomson and Elsa the lioness (Born Free movie). Listen to tales of Elsa and Christian the lion, as you are taken our guided game drives to see wildlife unique to this arid yet beautiful part of Kenya. The day and afternoon games drives will take you along the length and breadth of the Samburu Reserve, along famous waterholes and migration paths.

DAY 4 : Samburu Reserve – Aberdare
Drive to the Aberdare National Park arriving in time for lunch. The National Park is home to one of the largest density of species in the world. From elephants to leopards to black rhino, the Park has more than 250 bird species. Check into your tree lodge built on stilts, overlooking a floodlit waterhole. Enjoy excellent views of animals visiting the waterhole from the observation platforms of the lodge.

DAY 5 : Aberdare National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park
If you thought Africa was only about the Big five, get ready to be mesmerized at Lake Nakuru. The lake is home to the largest congregation of Flamingos in the world- reaching numbers in millions. You will also be able to spot the African fish eagle and the Pied Kingfisher. In the afternoon enjoy a game drive to spot the black rhino, white rhino, lion, leopard and numerous other wildlife.

DAY 6 : Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Enter into the heart of Africa- The Masai Mara. Travel along the floor of the Great Rift Valley and enter the Masai Mara Game Reserve, famous the world over for its staggering variety of wildlife and seasonal wildebeest migrations. If you plan right you could witness the Great Migration of wildebeests, Zebra and Thompson’s Gazelle. Following lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive to the hot spots of Lion and Leopard activity. The Masai Mara will offer you sights that will be imprinted on your mind for a lifetime.

DAY 7 : Masai Mara Game Reserve
Rise before dawn for a spectacular Hot Air Balloon ride over the Masai Mara Valley. Take a chance and feast on a bubbly bush breakfast- a one of its kind local cuisine at the Mara. Set out on a late afternoon game spotting safari in the reserve and the opportunity to spot Africa’s ‘Big Five’- African Lion, African Elephant, Cape Buffalo, African Leopard and the Rhino.

DAY 8 : Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi Departure
After an almost-into-the-wild experience, head back to Nairobi to catch your flight back home.
