DAY 1 : Bengaluru – Mysore
After arrival at Bengaluru, you will proceed to Mysore. En-route Mysore, you will visit the Ranganathittu bird sanctuary. The tiny 0.67 square kilometer Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary is a haven for nature lovers and bird watchers. Ranganathittu is Asia’s most significant nesting and breeding ground for birds. Located on the banks of River Kaveri, the sanctuary hosts other species of animals along with migratory birds. After some unwind time in the evening, you will visit the Vrindavan Gardens for the light and sound show at Vrindavan Gardens. Vrindavan Gardens are the most beautifully laid out terrace gardens and are spread over a sprawling 60 acres of land. This place is especially famous for its light and sound show. The coloured light and music are harmonized in the fountain to create a water ballet.

DAY 2 : Mysore
Mysore has a glorious history attached to it and today you will walk down the pages of history as you visit places of significance. After breakfast, you will visit the Chamundeshwari Temple, Tippu Sultan’s summer palace, Srirangapatna and Mysore Zoo. Srirangapatna was the citadel of the Mysore Kingdom for many decades. This island is known for its numerous historic and religious monuments. Sri Ranganathaswamy temple, Gumbaz and the Darya Daulat are the renowned tourist locations of this place. Tippu Sultan’s summer palace is a testimony of the magnificent Indo-Islamic architecture. The highlight of this palace is the painting of grand throne visualized by Tipu Sultan himself – which was coated with gold and embellished with emerald stones. After lunch, you will visit the St. Philomena Church and the Mysore palace. The Mysore palace is the prime tourist attraction of Mysore. The Amba Vilasa Palace as the Mysore Palace is known is an excellent demonstration of the Dravidian, Indo-Saracenic, and Oriental and Roman styles of architecture. The Maharaja’s Palace is a beautiful three storied stone building of fine gray granite and rich pink marble domes, overlooking this structure is a five-storied 145 foot tower whose domes are gilded in Gold. The original palace was burnt down in 1897 and English architect Henry Irwin designed the new palace. You will end your day with a visit to the Vrindavan gardens.

DAY 3 : Mysore – Ooty
Referred to as the queen of hill stations, Ooty is the most sought after vacation getaway in south India. This is nature’s paradise will not cease to enchant you with its picturesque and tranquil locations. Enroute Ooty, you will visit the Pykara Lake. Surrounded by forests which are locally called as shoals, the lake is a sterling example of nature’s exquisiteness and offers a panoramic view and pristine green water. The bridge on the main road is an ideal spot for one to take photos, and the view from here is exhilarating. You have the evening free for leisure.

DAY 4 : Ooty
Brace yourself to get mesmerised by the sheer brilliance of the paradise that Ooty is. Today you will visit the Botanical Garden, Ooty Lake and Rose Garden. Spread over a 22 hectares of land, the Botanical Gardens of Ooty is home to 650 species of flowers and trees. You will be welcomed with a vast expanse of lawn like a golf course, going steeply uphill. Do not forget to spot the colourful Nilgiri Birds amidst the dense trees and hedges. The Ooty Rose Garden is one of the largest of its kinds in India and is a visual treat for all. It is spread over 10 acres of land and boasts of having some of the best species of roses.

DAY 5 : Coonoor – Ooty
Conoor is one of the three hill stations of the Nilgiri belt. Dolphin’s nose, Dodabetta peak and Sim’s park are on your itinerary list today. The ride to the Dolphin’s nose is to die for. Gorgeous tea gardens keep you company all the way up to the Dolphin’s nose. The tip of the peak resembles a dolphin’s nose, hence the name Dolphin’s Nose. This enormous rock formation is entirely unique and one can view the Catherine Waterfalls from the Dolphin’s Nose. You will also visit the Dodabetta Peak and Sim’s Park. Sim’s Park is a natural garden and has colourful flowers beds, lawns and rockeries. It is adorned with the shola trees on the sidetracks. You will return to your hotel for a good night’s sleep.

DAY 6 : Ooty To Bengaluru
Once you reach Bengaluru, you will have the evening to shop and indulge at MG road, which is the shopping hub of the city. You can pick up some gorgeous sarees, ethnic jewellery and souvenirs from this place. If you’ve missed out on the famous Mysore paak in Mysore, you mustn’t forget to binge on this traditional sweet today!
DAY 7 : Bengaluru
Bengaluru is a perfect amalgamation of cultural heritage and urban expansion. The city has beautiful temples and historic structures along with its extravagant malls and IT parks. Today you will visit Lalbagh, Visveshwarya Industrial Museum, Cubbon Park and Vidhana Soudhan. Hyder Ali, the Emperor of Mysore, laid down the foundation of the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens in the 18th century which were later completed by his son, Tipu Sultan. The Lal Bagh Rock, one of the oldest rock formations on earth – is one of the key highlights of this place along with a glasshouse. Flower extravaganzas are held every year in the botanical gardens, as a part of the Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations. The Vidhana Soudhan is among the most well architected structures of Bengaluru. This hosts the Legislative Chambers of the state government. Vidhana Soudha is adorned with four domes on its four corners. Embellishing the entrance of the buildings is the Four-headed Lion, the national symbol of India. It is constructed purely out of granite and porphyry.
