DAY 1 : Chandigarh
Your first destination for the day is The Rock Garden. The Rock Garden is a world acclaimed heritage site. Spread over 20 acres of wood, it consists of sculptures of different kinds crafted from industrial and urban waste. All the sculptures in the garden are a creation of one dedicated person. You’ll be in awe of the simplicity of the structures and won’t even realise how fast time will go by. Imagine yourself surrounded by 50,000 rose-bushes of 1600 different species in 30 acres of land! That’s Chandigarh’s rose garden for you. Named after the former President of India, the Zakir Rose Garden has been hosting Festival of Gardens, a major cultural event in Chandigarh every year during February or March.

DAY 2 : Shimla
The Ridge is a well known tourist attraction located in the heart of Shimla. It is situated along the Mall Road, which is well known for its shopping centres. You will be spending the evening at Ridge, where you can check out some exclusive artifacts and cloth pieces. This place is known to host numerous fares and extravaganzas throughout the year and with this the entire locality comes to life with vibrant colours.

DAY 3 : Shimla
Jakhoo Hill is town’s highest peak and a vantage point for Shimla’s famous views. According to the legend, Jakhoo temple was formed when lord Hanuman visited Jakhu hill, during the famous Rama – Ravana fight and hence is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Built in 1888 for the British viceroy, the Viceregal Lodge resembles the Hogwarts and Tower of London. It has been converted into the Indian Institute of Advanced Study. If you’re a bird lover, then you can also visit the glum Himalayan Bird Park near the lodge. Post this you will also visit the well known Kamna Devi Temple.

Kufri is a picturesque hill station at a distance of 20km from Shimla. This place is especially well known to trekkers. Any treks to Manali and Shimla, start from Kufri. Kufri has the oldest skiing slopes in Himachal Pradesh and is famous for adventurous activities such as skiing, tobogganing (sliding downhill on a sled), etc.
After this, you will be visiting the Chail Palace. Himachal Tourism now owns Bhupinder Singh Maharaja’s Chail Palace– which has been turned into a heritage hotel. It stands witness to the erstwhile glory of the royal era of the state. Spread over 75 acres of land, this is one of the prime tourist attractions of Himachal Pradesh offering accommodation in the form of cottages, suites and deluxe rooms.

DAY 4 : Manali
Next on our destination list is Manali. You will visit Kullu en-route Manali. Kullu is located on the banks of Beas River. With the mighty Himalayan in the background and its pristine water bodies, this place gives you a serene vibe and also offers a variety of adventure sports options. The place is also known for its exquisite temples.
You have the evening to yourself to relax and do whatever that makes you happy!

DAY 5 : Manali
Manali is the gateway to Rohtang pass, which is the most popular tourist attraction of Manali. The slopes here are known for ski-ing during winters. The Rohtang pass is 51 KM north of Manali and it is located on Manali Keylong Highway at an altitude of 4111 meters (13,400 ft ). This pass is open April end to October end of the year and is flocked by tourists. The permission to travel on this highway is given by Indian army after they clear the snow and inspect the road. This pass is also the connecting point to Leh and Ladhak. You’re bound to have a quality time with your loved ones at this beautiful location.

DAY 6 : Manali
Snow capped peaks with giant slopes and lush greenery of dense forests make a brilliant combination at the Solang Valley. After having a brilliant time at the Solang valley, you will cover Hadimba, Manu and Vashishtha temple, Tibetan Monastery and Mountaineering Institute. The ski school of Manali is located at Solang Valley. The Tibetan Monastery very well demonstrates the culture of the inhabitants. It is known for its handicrafts of Tibetan artistry and carpets.

DAY 7 : Manali – Parwanoo
You will be heading towards Parwanoo. Manali to Parwanoo is an eight hour journey. Apart from being an industrial town, Parwanoo, is known for its abundant scenic beauty with spectacular sunsets amidst the snow capped hills creating shimmery magic.

DAY 8 : Chandigarh
After a mesmerising Himalayan experience, you are scheduled for departure from Chandigarh.
