DAY 1 : Gujarat- Somnath
Welcome to the ‘Jewel of Western India’, Gujarat. Post check in, head out to visit the famous temple of Lord Shiva- Somnath. The Somnath temple which is said to have been first constructed in 512AD, was destroyed and rebuilt several times up to the recent past. The style of architecture is from the Chalukya age. Also take a holy dip at the Triveni Ghat- a confluence of the rivers Kapil, Hiran and Saraswati, representing birth, life and death.
Be a witness to the colourful and vibrant Somnath Aarthi before retiring for the night.

DAY 2 : Somnath
After a relaxed breakfast at your hotel, head out to visit some of the most historic sites of Somnath. A visit to the Junagadh Gate will take you back centuries to the age of Afghan plunder. The Junagadh Gate is an entry point to the city of Somnath and was used by the Afghans during the numerous invasion of the shrine of Somnath. The Bhalka Tirtha is one of the most visited Hindu pilgrimage spots in India. It is said to be the spot where Lord Krishna rested after being fatally wounded by the arrow of a hunter.
Before dinner, view the magnificent and enthralling Sound and Light show at the Somnath Temple.

DAY 3 : Sasan Gir
No visit to Gujarat is complete without visiting the Gir National Park. The only natural home to the Asiatic Lion, Gir Forest is a protected area. Hop on to one of the day long guided tours around the forest to view the flora and fauna exclusive to this region of the world.

DAY 4 : Diu
Take a long ride to the beautiful Union Territory of Diu. Diu is unlike any other place you have visited so far. Infused with age old Portuguese architecture, Diu is a perfect getaway spot. Visit the famous St.Paul’s Church and the sun kissed beaches as time takes a break from itself.

DAY 5 : Goodbye Diu And Gujarat
Take away a trunk of memories as you bid adieu to Diu and catch your train back to Pune.
