You will begin your day at Amritsar with a visit to the historic and infamous Jalianwala Bagh. At the Bagh, you can witness the eternal flame – Amar Jyoti, which is a memorial for those who lost their lives at the massacre. You can also visit the museum-like section which has visual and written information about them. After Jalianwala Bagh, you will proceed to another place of historic significance which is the Wagah Border. The closing ceremony at Wagah Border, also known as ‘lowering of the flags’ ceremony, is a daily martial custom that the security forces of India (Border Security Force) and Pakistan (Pakistan Rangers) have mutually followed since 1959. This interesting ceremony takes place every evening before sunset at Wagah Border and it is witnessed by thousands of enthusiastic Indians and Pakistanis. After this, you will be visiting the Golden Temple (Harmandir Saheb). In the evening, you will get the magnificent illuminated view of the Golden Temple and will be able to take darshan of the Granth Sahib. After relishing some local dinner you will go to the Amritsar Railway station for onward journey to Jammu at 1.10am by Bti Jat Express.

DAY 4 : Srinagar
Arrival at Jammu at 6.15 am; and proceed to Srinagar (8-10 hrs). You have the entire evening at your disposal.

DAY 5 : Srinagar
After breakfast, you will proceed for Srinagar local sightseeing by Jeep/ Tempo Traveler; you are first scheduled to visit the famous Shankaracharya Temple. Sanding at 1100 ft above the surface level of Srinagar, the Shankaracharya temple, is one of the most revered Hindu pilgrimages in J&K. After the darshan, you will proceed for a peaceful Shikara ride in Dal Lake. Coming to Kashmir and not experiencing the Shikara ride is a waste of a trip. En route, you will also be visiting the Nehru Park & Floating Market. The much renowned Hajrat Bal Dargah is also on your check list for the day. Chashmeshahi, Nishad & Shalimar Mughal Gardens are the picturesque gardens the Kashmir valley is famous for, which you are scheduled to visit. All these gardens were built separately by different emperors from 1600 AD to 1730 AD and are now converted into tourist and picnic spots.

DAY 6 : Srinagar
On the way to Gulmargh, you will be able to see the Apple orchids which are at 9500 feet above sea level. Once we reach Gulmargh, we will take a walk around the golf course towards ropeway entry point. After this, you will take Gondola Ropeway Ride to Kungdoor. The 1st level is at 10050ft. above sea level. You can opt for Aparwath (2nd level) if the weather permits. The Gondola Ropeway Ride is the world’s second highest operating cable car service. You can end the day by soaking in the mesmerizing views at the Snow Point.

DAY 7 : Pahalgam
On the way to Pahalgam, you will see the Pampore saffron plantations. The Kashmir willows are known to produce the best wood for bats. We will take you to visit the Bat Factory, where you will witness the bat-making process. You will also visit the Relics of Awantipura Vishnu Temple built by Raja Awantivarman. After an exciting day, you will retreat to the hotel by 2.00 pm and will have the entire evening to yourself.

DAY 8 : Pahalgam
You will begin the day with Chandanwari, which is the starting point of Amarnath Yatra. From Chandanwari, you will get a magnificent view of the Lidder valley and the famous Betab valley. The Betab valley got its name from the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. In the evening, you can head to one of the numerous photo studios of Pahalgam and get yourself clicked in the traditional Kashmiri outfit!

DAY 9 : Katra; Mata
Vaishnodevi Darshan
Here is the most awaited part of the trip! After breakfast, you will depart to Katra. On arrival at Katra, you will be required to collect the Entry Pass for the Vaishnodevi darshan. After dinner, you will proceed for Mata Vaishnodevi Darshan, which is considered as one of the holiest pilgrimages of our times. You can reach the entry gate (Banganga) by auto rickshaw. After the security check, you can proceed to Vaishnodevi temple which is 14 KM by walk/ horse/ doli.

DAY 10 : Overnight Journey
After darshan, you will return to the hotel by afternoon. For those who have opted for Darshan by Helicopter, will start for darshan at 8.00 am and return by 5.00 pm approximately. Pack your bags and depart at 6.00 pm for Jammu by the railways.
