DAY 1 : Cochin
You will arrive at Cochin after which you are scheduled to check-in at the hotel. You can retire to sleep early, to wake up to an exciting Kerala extravaganza – God’s own country!

DAY 2 : Cochin – Munnar
You will leave for Munnar in the morning. Enroute Munnar you will visit the Kalady Adi Shankaracharya Temple. Kalady is a picturesque town which is the birthplace of Adi Shankaracharya after whom the shrine is named. Adi Shankaracharya was born to a Brahmin couple after several prayers to Lord Shiva. His early life was marked by several miraculous exploits and he is known to have played a divine role throughout his life. You will have the evening free for leisure.

DAY 3 : Munnar
Munnar is known for its attractive and vast tea gardens. You will visit the tea gardens as well as the Tea Museum / Processing Unit. Post this; you will visit the Christ Church, Top Station, Mattupetty Dam and Kundale. Top Station is the highest point on the Munnar-Kodaikanal road. It offers magnificent views of the distant valley of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The Mattupetty Lake is open for boating for tourists. Kundale is also famous for its breathtaking lakes surrounded by thick forests.

DAY 4 : Munnar- Eravikulam National Park
Next on our destination list is Manali. You will visit Kullu en-route Manali. Kullu is located on the banks of Beas River. With the mighty Himalayan in the background and its pristine water bodies, this place gives you a serene vibe and also offers a variety of adventure sports options. The place is also known for its exquisite temples.
You have the evening to yourself to relax and do whatever makes you happy!

DAY 5 : Munnar-Thekkady
On your way from Munnar to Thekkady, you will visit the famous Kerala spice plantations. Being the tropical paradise that it is, Kerala is known to produce supreme quality spices. Kumily, the closest village to Periyar, is famous for its spices market. Pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, and nutmeg are some of the spices that are produced on a large scale in this region.

DAY 6 : Thekkady
You will visit the Periyar National Park, known for its dense evergreen forest and rich wildlife. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have a unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. The greatest attractions of Periyar, however, are the Elephants that come to the Lake to quench their thirst. You can also see other species like Indian Gaur, Wild Boars, Spotted Deer, Sambar and many aquatic birds.

DAY 7 : Alleppey
Post breakfast, you will proceed to Alleppey and check in to the houseboat on arrival.
Alleppey / Kumarakom is the best place to enjoy the famous Kerala backwaters. The Kerala backwaters are a network of interconnected canals, rivers, lakes and inlets, an intricate system formed by more than 900km of waterways. These all are lined with Coconut Trees making the landscape most beautiful to experience. Coconut Trees along the backwaters, cool breeze, village coir industries make the holidays spent at backwaters most memorable.

DAY 8 : Kanyakumari
Enroute Kanyakumari, you will visit Suchindram Temple. Celebrated for its sculptural grandeur, the temple has musical pillars and a majestic seven-storey-ed white Gopuram which is visible from quite a distance. Its 40 meter facade is covered with intricately carved sculptures of Hindu deities. You are also scheduled to visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Kanyakumari temple. The Vivekananda Rock Memorial was built in 1970 to honour the vision of Swami Vivekananda. It is said that after he swam across turbulent waters for a reasonable time, Swami Vivekananda attained enlightenment on this rock – around which the memorial is built.

DAY 9 : Kovalam
Kovalam is said to have the finest beaches in India with three adjacent crescent beaches. Right from sunbathing to swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes, catamaran cruising and more, this place is known to have leisure options galore. Carry all your beach essentials and be safe while you venture in the sea waters. You must not miss witnessing the mesmerising sunset at this beach at any cost.

DAY 10 : Kovalam- Trivandrum- Kovalam
Often referred to as the mini Switzerland of India, Khajjar is 22 km away from Dalhousie. You can enjoy Horse riding and Xorbing on the exquisite glade of Khajjiar. (1960m). Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary is a must visit for every wildlife enthusiast. This sanctuary boasts of dense forest amidst velvety meadow and steep terrain and is home to numerous species of birds and animals. The Himalayan Bear very often comes out into the buffer area and hence it is not advised to walk around without a guide.

DAY 11 : Cochin
You will head to Cochin on this day. During the first half of the day, you will visit the old city of Cochin .You will visit Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and also see the Chinese Fishing Nets. The Mattanchery Palace was built by the Portuguese in 1557 and was gifted to Raja Veera Kerala Varma, the then Royal of Cochin. The palace has an exquisite collection of murals collectively covering over 300 sq ft of its walls. Accounts mention that the Chinese Fishing nets were set up between AD 1350 and 1450 by traders from the court of Kubla Khan while some others say Chinese explorer Zhang He introduced the nets to Kochi shores. All tourists visiting Cochin are taken to the shores to see these nets.
